As we all know, most people are keeping an eye on their exspenses. Advertisers are looking for ever creative ways to connect with people, and in times of economic stress humor is king. Speaking of King’s, BurgerKings new campaign “Reverse Pickpocketing” is absolutely brilliant. I am making no cookies by reporting on what I think is a brilliant direction, but who cares, these are awesome.

The amazingly timed campaign, created for BurgerKing by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, has been airing nationally. It’s brilliance is simply the idea that by eating at BK you’ll keep money in your pocket. Now, we know you save money by eating at home, but this is a perfect position to take in a recession. Check it out!
