It’s 2008, and mass media has changed. The entire internet(s) has become a clustering of new and recycled media. Some licensed, and much more of it pirated. It’s not going to change, no matter how hard we fight. Interestingly, this is nothing new, as piracy is to growth as fish are to water. I am not making it up, the more we allow people the free access and sharing of information, or in the case of this topic, content, the further we progress. Just think about it, since the web has become a household item in over 75% of the homes in America, we have seen a creative and intellectual boom. Our sharing of information, paid or not, has helped us grow.
